So if I’m going to be completely honest here in these blogs, I’m going to simply start off by saying I barely got anything out of this weeks BCM 112 lecture.
(Me trying to stay awake in the lecture.)
Maybe because Travis didn’t let his hair out, I guess I just wasn’t as motivated (only joking Travis, you are not the reason). If anything JustJules was feeling a little sick this week and therefore barely concentrated in this weeks lecture.

But If anything JustJules was feeling a little sick this week and therefore barely concentrated in this weeks lecture.
But whilst I was awake and somewhat concentrated on the two hours on a Monday morning I did learn the idea of ‘Monologic media’ as a parallel idea of broadcast media, therefore dialogic media.
And these sorts of Media are all represented by the internet, which is dialogic by design.
I learnt that there is an obvious message which then goes through a gatekeeper and the message is then broadcast directly to us the audience, but what we should bear in mind is that there is no implicit filter when it comes to gatekeepers, as they are weak and usually non-existent.
And here I end this blog ‘weak and non-existent’ as I go through endless supplies of tissues and lemon and ginger tea.
